Lonny - President
The great-nephew of Adams Foam founder Julius "Red" Adams, Lonny has
been President of Adams Foam since 1986. The University of Illinois
graduate has been with Adams Foam since 1972, and in his 35 years here,
he has occupied virtually every position within the company. Through
his unique leadership and extraordinary dedication, Lonny has
successfully guided the business towards using proven yet advanced
manufacturing techniques, supported the company's movement into the
protective and decorative packaging markets, and ensured that Adams
Foam retains its leading position in the foam fabrication industry.
In his free time, Lonny enjoys golf, platform tennis, and fishing.
Dave - VP Manufacturing
As a seasoned mechanic, machinist, electrician, and plumber, Dave
sincerely dedicates his time to the implementation, maintenance, and
upgrading of all factory machinery and equipment. He has been with the
company for over 35 years, and always has his finger on the pulse of
our factory operations. In his free time, Dave enjoys fishing, golf,
and spending time in his recording studio with his grandchildren.
Dave is also a proud Army Veteran of Vietnam and we are honored to
have him at Adams Foam.
Sandy - VP Sales
Sandy has been a part of the foam community for over 25 years, and has
been a member of our team since 1994. She is certified by Dow Chemical
in Cushion Package Design Engineering, and proudly serves as our VP of
Sales. She designs protective and decorative packaging for products
ranging from foodstuffs, to award statues, to lighting and electrical
equipment. Sandy's contagiously positive attitude and work ethic are
major assets to our front office and company as a whole. In her free
time, Sandy dedicates herself to a variety of local charities and
spending time with her loving family.
George - Purchasing and Inventory Manager
George is approaching his 35th anniversary with Adams Foam, and his
expansive knowledge of foam and exemplary devotion to all of our
customers are driving forces behind our success as a company.
Furthermore, George's impeccable employment record and attention to
detail foster a company-wide culture in which customer service and
quality control are top priorities. We are grateful to George for all
of his work, and we can assure you that your experience in working with
him will be exceptionally positive. It should also be noted that we all
look forward to the holiday season when George graciously distributes a
delightful variety of cookies and other treats to our team. Thanks George!
GK - Furniture & Packaging Sales
GK began his career path in the U.S. Army as a Service & Combat Vehicle
Mechanic in Vietnam, and was awarded the coveted Bronze Star for his
extraordinary level of service to his Unit and his Country. Following
his military career, GK obtained an extensive education in engineering
working as a designer of home furnishings, and later as a sales manager
in the packaging material supply industry. With an extensive
professional background in machinery, heavy industry, and engineering,
GK joined our team in 2000 to service our growing packaging division,
and provide sales support to our extensive list of customers in the
furniture and bedding industries.
Bertie - Office Manager
In her short tenure at Adams Foam, beginning in 2004, Bertie has
transformed our front office into an organized and efficient center of
operations and order processing. Drawing upon her vast office management
experience working for a former competitor, Bertie has become an integral
part of our team and a welcomed addition to the friendly conversation and
general camaraderie that flows throughout our company. Away from Adams
Foam, Bertie enjoys walking, playing cards with friends, and listening
to one of her favorite artists, Al Green.
Ulyan - Machine Programmer & Engineer
Ulyan joined Adams Foam in 2000 after compiling an extensive educational
and professional background in engineering and CNC machine programming.
Ulyan obtained a graduate level Engineering degree while living in his
native Russia, where he also proceeded to become an undergraduate
professor of Engineering. In 1991, Ulyan emigrated to the U.S. where
he continued his engineering work designing tooling and dies at a
sizable metal CNC machining company. Now, at Adams Foam, Ulyan is
responsible for programming our CNC driven fabrication machinery, as
well as designing, building, and modifying an array of specialized
fixtures used to fabricate some of our more unique custom foam
decorative and protective packaging inserts. Ulyan adds depth to our
design engineering capabilities, needed support for our sales staff,
and Adams Foam is gracious for his services and contributions.
Brad - Executive VP
As the most recent addition to Adams Foam, Brad functions as the Chief Legal Officer, VP of IT Services, and manager of Green Cell foam sales. His educational background includes a B.A. in Corporate Communication from The University of Texas, and a J.D. from The University of Southern California. Brad is also certified to practice law in the State of Illinois. Before coming to Adams Foam, Brad owned and operated a denim garment manufacturing company in Los Angeles and worked as a private business and legal consultant for clients in the arts and fashion industries. Brad is an avid Texas Longhorns fan, and hopes to begin competing in Ironman level triathlons in the near future. He is a young and dynamic part of our team, we are glad to have him join us, and hope that he will create the foundation for Adams Foam's next generation and many more years of successful foam fabrication.
